My name is Loredana and I am currently residing in the UK. I enjoy living in York which seems to me a linguist’s heaven as we can hear so many languages being spoken all around us.

I’ve always been challenged by learning new languages, discovering new places and their cultures.

I have also basic knowledge of Italian and Spanish.

I would be delighted to share my passion for languages with you and hope to make a valuable contribution to help you achieve your goals.

Some of my other hobbies are travelling, cycling, running or simply being in nature.

Qualifications and teaching experience

My native languages are Romanian and Hungarian but I have a degree in French and English Studies as well as in Public Relations and Communications.

For several years I used to work in an academic environment and I was involved mainly in translation and interpretation assignments. I was also responsible for the coordination of several international events.

During my last university years I was also trained to become a teacher. I used to teach French and English to college students.

Teaching approach

My tuition service is flexible, effective & fun and you can progress much faster than in a traditional class environment. Online tuition is an extremely rewarding method and goes right to the heart of learning a foreign language.

I can teach a structured course for beginners to intermediate level. The tempo will be determined by the ability of the student. For instance, if you feel happy to go at a faster pace, we will work together to that aim. Or we can slow down if you encounter any difficulties.

I can help you with vocabulary and grammar, with putting a resume together or even with translations which will help you in your job, in your studies or just in everyday life.

Together we can build your confidence & vocabulary, as well as the core skills of speaking and listening by learning in an interactive environment that offers you the essential practice and experience of live conversation.
