Online, One-to-One Language Tuition
Convenient
Learn at your desk from your office or from home. All you need is a computer, an internet connection, Skype installed on your computer, and a Skype compatible computer headset. If you want to see your tutor during the class, you will also need a webcam (see equipment and software requirements below). Please note that currently not all our tutors are able to offer video calls. You can check who does by viewing each tutor’s profile.
Personal
We offer one-to-one tuition in a foreign language at a level and speed that suits you.
Flexible
You don’t need to enrol on an expensive course. You choose how many lessons you want, and depending on tutor availability, you choose when each class takes place.
Experienced tutors
You can check the profile of all of our tutors, and decide which one would suit you best.
All levels are catered for from beginners to advanced students. Classes can be tailored for academic study, business language, learning holiday language basics or simply for the pleasure of learning another language. Depending on the tutor and his or her method, follow-up material may also be available for personal study between sessions.
Each lesson lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
Skype, equipment and software requirements
Skype allows you to make free calls from your computer to other people with Skype. Skype is free to download. You can download the free software from www.skype.com.

Cost
The cost is the same per lesson no matter which language you choose.
- Each lesson costs a flat fee of £25.00 + VAT.
- If you choose to pre-book a block of 5 lessons, then the cost per lesson reduces to £23.00 + VAT.
- If you choose to pre-book a block of 10 lessons, then the cost per lesson reduces to £20.00 + VAT per lesson.
Since Skype-to-Skype voice and video calls are free, there are no additional costs.
The process
- You choose which language you would like to learn from the list provided
- You choose which tutor you would like to lead your lesson
- Click on the tutor enquiry icon. You will be asked to provide basic contact details, confirm that you are over 16 years of age, confirm which language you wish to learn, how you would rate your current knowledge of the language, and provide dates and times you would prefer to take a class
- We’ll check availability for you
- To book the session, all you have to do is call us and pay by credit card over the phone. Whilst you need to call us to book lessons during normal business hours, the lessons themselves can be taken any time during the day, evening or weekends subject to tutor availability
- There is no minimum number of classes that you need to book at any one time. Once availability has been established, you can book one lesson or as many as you like!
