My name is María Emilia Zimbello and I am a teacher and translator of English and Spanish. I am 27 years old and I have been working as a teacher for 9 years, and as a translator for 4. I also teach English Literature.

One of my passions is art, in any of its forms, and I consider the good use and usage of a language an art as well.

I also enjoy travelling, since it gives me the possibility to get to know more about other cultures.

I lived in Cambridge, England which helped me acquire more knowledge about my second language.

I studied English Translation in the National University of La Plata, faculty of Humanities and Educational Science.

I have taken several courses, both nationally and internationally, for teaching both Spanish and English.

I work at private institutions, school and also in different companies as a tutor for the employees' particular requirements.

Hi! My name is Mónica. I was born and brought up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am married and I have three beautiful daughters. I like reading, cycling, listening music and of course meeting new people!

Qualifications and teaching experience

I am native speaker of Spanish, but I have experience in teaching both Spanish and English at different levels in Argentina.

I have master degrees in Translation and International Copy Editor in Spanish Language and I also trained to be a language teacher. Since 2005, I have worked for Cambridge Institute as a teacher. Beside, I work for companies, agencies and private individuals as a freelance translator.

Teaching approach

Since I have obtained my degree, I have continued to investigate and to keep up-to-date with new methodologies in languages teaching.

I have good knowledge in the use of IT and I believed in its effectiveness in teaching and learning languages.

I offer different basic teaching approaches. All of them aimed to comprehension, where students, business people or just someone that wants to be prepared for a holiday in a Spanish speaking country will learn how to use specific vocabulary, grammar and conversation skills.

Soy hablante nativa de español, pero tengo experiencia en enseñar los dos idiomas, español e inglés, en diferentes niveles en Argentina.

Soy Traductora Literaria y de Especialidad y Correctora Internacional de Textos en Idioma Español. También me entrené para ser profesora de lenguas.

Desde el año 2005, trabajo para el Instituto Cambridge, en Argentina, como profesora de inglés. Además, estoy trabajando para empresas y compañías como traductora por cuenta propia.
