Sussex Firm Goes Polish, with Interpreters and Translation Services
We have been chosen by a large Sussex-based IT company to provide all their Polish translation and interpreting needs over the next 6 months.
We’ll be translating and localising their website into Polish and providing on-site Polish interpreters to assist during client visits. We’ve even been asked to advise on menus, with a Polish theme, for their staff canteen!
With over 2000 Polish speakers now living in Crawley, Sussex, it is perhaps hardly surprising that Polish is flavour of the month. What is quite surprising however, is that an incredible 94 languages are now spoken in Crawley schools. According to an article in www.thisissussex.co.uk, the most common language – other than English - is Urdu, followed by Gujarati, Caribbean Creole, French, Portuguese and Tamil. Who’d have thought?
It seems that Sussex is becoming truly multicultural and I suppose as a translation company, we have the evidence of this right in front of us. We are regularly called upon to provide translators and interpreters in Chichester, Brighton, Worthing, Crawley, Hastings, Eastbourne, Horsham and Bognor Regis.
