With the Mayor of Worcester presiding over the glittering event, 14 of our newly qualified Community Interpreters were awarded their certificates last week.  The award ceremony coincided with the launch of the Polish Community Association in Worcester, an organisation set-up to assist and support the steadily increasing population of Polish speakers settling in Worcester.

Councillor Audrey Steel made the presentation to our interpreters on the night.  The city of Worcester can now boast newly qualified interpreters covering Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Slovak and Portuguese.  All these interpreters enrolled on our accredited Community Interpreting course earlier in the year.  Tom from Worcester Council said, “Once again, many thanks for all your hard work to make the course such a success.  I really hope we can work together on new projects in the near future.  Very best wishes and a huge “thanks” to Knockhundred”.

The awards and presentation of certificates to the new community interpreters took place at the Guildhall, Worcester, with the Mayor of Worcester, Councillor Dr David Tibbutt and Councillor Audrey Steel.
