This week’s star interpreter – it’s a Bengali interpreter...
Every week, we choose a star interpreter. This week it is Zakir, one of our Bengali interpreters who drove (with about 10 minutes notice) to Winchester Court last week. When we got the SOS call from a frantic solicitor based in Hampshire saying that the interpreter they had booked had simply not shown up, I have to say I was worried that we might struggle to find an immediate replacement Bengali interpreter for them. Court interpreters are highly qualified and much in demand.
I shouldn’t have worried. Zakir stepped up to the challenge, jumped in his car and raced from London to Winchester like a true professional. Even the judge at Winchester Court praised our Bengali man for his skill, professionalism (and speed!). So, a huge thank you to this amazing interpreter!
