French Interpreting Assignment and Meeting Luton's Virtual Interpreters

I will be flying out from London Luton Airport to Paris to manage a French interpreting assignment soon, and I’m really looking forward to meeting Holly and Graham.

Apparently, Luton Airport has trialled some new holographic technology in the form of virtual interpreters affectionately known as “Holly” and “Graham”.  These virtual interpreters will be used to brief passengers on the preparations they need to undertake before undergoing the security search.

Should the trial at Luton be successful, it is envisaged that Holly and Graham will speak and interpret in numerous languages such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Arabic, Bengali, Punjabi, Romanian and Russian.  London Luton Airport, if you’re listening, please note we can supply translators, interpreters and voiceover artists in all these languages, so please get in touch if we can help.  In the meantime, I had better go and pack my bag for that French interpreting assignment!
