We deal with all sorts of source audio including police interviews, court tapes, business meetings, conferences and speeches, and in some cases disciplinary hearings for local authorities in London and Birmingham.
Knockhundred’s transcriptionists are highly skilled and in many cases, incredibly fast, offering our clients a speedy, reliable and super-accurate transcript.
Some of our competitors out there offer really cheap transcription services but, from past experience, the quality of the output suffers terribly. This is potentially very worrying for, say, medical transcription work where accuracy is of paramount importance. In fact, we have recently had to re-transcribe a sound file where another company had carried out the work to such a poor standard that the transcript was almost impossible to understand and contained significant errors.
Depending on the precise nature of the assignment, our transcriptionists are usually UK based and always carefully vetted. We also offer transcription services in over 150 other languages besides English.
We have also recently added an in-house studio here to handle special transcription services. In order to maximize audibility and ensure accurate transcriptions, we offer a forensic audio service. This is useful for the analysis of covert recordings or when original recordings require “cleaning” prior to transcription.
We can handle just about any format including CD, DVD, MiniDisc, Hi-MD, tape, video and most digital sound files including wav, MP3, aif, aiff and Real Audio.
