Russian and Polish advertising translation stimulate terrible puns
Oh dear. There have been some terrible, terrible puns flying around in the office today amongst the team of translation project managers.
All very immature, but hey… This is all down to a local Birmingham based company placing some advertising material to be translated into Russian and Polish.
The advertising material we are translating into Russian and Portuguese relates to is a cleaning product. The banter in the office was gentle to start with, but soon degenerated into Russian around and Polishing jokes… Need I say more? This was not helped by the Russian and Polish translators joining in the, frankly, cringe-making word play. Thank heavens there is not much you can do with the combination Russian, Polish and Birmingham. Or is there? Somebody is bound to write and tell me.
