A Day Out with Birmingham Interpreters

I hadn’t been to Birmingham for ages, so I was really pleased when I got the job of meeting a team of Polish, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian and Russian interpreters in preparation for an interpreting event at a major trade show.

The event is being held at a swanky venue in the heart of Birmingham – though sadly not near any of the shops I wanted to visit. The interpreters on the other hand are very pleased to be interpreting in Birmingham. Their interpreting skills will be required at the post-show banquet, so they’ll get scrumptious food into the bargain.

Knockhundred will be managing the translation of all the marketing material associated with the event in Birmingham, so there will also be a team of Polish, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian and Russian translators on hand. I’m really looking forward to this project: a day out in Birmingham and I get to meet all these translators and interpreters I’ve been liaising with. Ok- what I really mean is that I might get to sneak out to Birmingham city centre and those shops…
