Polish and Russian interpreting in Hereford and Herefordshire
We've just won a contract from a consortium of Hereford businesses to provide Polish and Russian interpreters across the county of Herefordshire. Polish people have for some years been settling in Hereford, but there is also now a growing community of Russian natives as well.
The Polish and Russian communities are also starting to become embedded into the local rural population outside of the cathedral city and right across Herefordshire. Although the vast majority of Polish and Russian people take an amazingly short period of time to establish very good English language skills, the project will be established to help kick-start their journeys into various business enterprises. There is an existing strong Polish community in rural south Herefordshire as well as in the middle of Hereford city. In fact the BBC made a video diary about the ways in which they had changed the area culturally, from their religion through to their shopping habits. But now it seems that the Polish, Russian and other Eastern European people are starting to become really at home in Herefordshire and are ready to accept a new challange. This interpreting assignment will assist them in new ventures including businesses of their own and assist them moving into more senior positions in established local businesses in Hereford and beyond.
