Forensic Audio Transcription and "Cleaning" Sound

We’ve gone all a bit MI5 in our office.  In case you’re wondering what on earth I’m going on about, let me explain.  It’s all to do with the audio transcription work we do.  We work for loads of different market sectors transcribing audio files.  Most of our work is to do with transcription of interviews, audio typing and transcribing meetings.  A great deal of our work is English audio transcription, but we also work in 190 other languages.  The quality of the audio can sometimes be a real issue for our transcriptionists in any language, especially if the end result has legal implications for the people involved.

I honestly have no idea how he does it, but one of our frankly geeky directors has worked out how to ‘clean’ the sound of poor quality audio files before our transcriptionists start work.  Our transcriptionists now love him – it’s official.  You can see more about our audio transcription services and our new forensic audio transcription by clicking here.
