Icelandic Translation and Other Language Services

Icelandic is a Northern Germanic language with about 300,000 speakers in Iceland, Canada and the USA. Icelandic is the closest of the Northern Germanic languages to Old Norse and it is possible for Icelandic speakers to read the Old Norse sagas in the original without too much difficulty. It is written using the Latin alphabet.

Our Icelandic qualified linguists are rigorously vetted and our quality procedures adhere to BS EN 15038 translation standard. They only translate into their mother tongue and have specialist subject knowledge so they can combine linguistic knowledge with subject knowledge.
