Sichuan Yi Translation and Other Language Services
Yi is a family of closely related tonal Tibeto-Burman languages spoken by the Yi people in China. People belonging to the Yi nationality speak six different languages, all part of the Tibeto-Burman linguistic family. One of these languages has been chosen as the standard "Yi" language and, as such, is the only one taught in school, both in its oral and written form. Yi is spoken by between 2 and 5.5 million people in the Chinese provinces of Yunnan and Sichuan.
Our qualified Sichuan Yi linguists are rigorously vetted and our quality procedures adhere to BS EN 15038 translation standard. They only translate into their mother tongue and have specialist subject knowledge so they can combine linguistic knowledge with subject knowledge.
