Environmental Policy

Knockhundred Translations takes its environmental responsibilities seriously and we have a commitment to continuous improvement.

We are proud to have adopted a position of advocacy in our environmental policies.

We recognise and comply with all relevant government legislation as a minimum level of performance. We have in place a continuing process of training and education in environmental issues for our employees.

We monitor progress towards our environmental goals annually.

Specifically, Knockhundred Translations:

• recycles all packaging and paper products wherever it is possible to do so.
• has a policy of reducing non-essential transport costs through the use of modern electronic communications and video/web conferencing.
• uses recycled paper and cardboard from sustainable stock wherever it is essential to use paper copies of documents.
• minimises waste wherever possible and actively encourages the efficient use of water and energy in its offices.
• uses biodegradable cleaning products at its offices.
• complies with the requirements of environmental legislation and approved codes of practice.
• continuously seeks to improve environmental performance by reducing waste, reducing the use of raw materials and energy.
• raises awareness and encourages participation of our staff and clients towards improving our environmental strategies.
• assists customers to use products and services in an environmentally sensitive way.
